I'm based in the Fraser Valley (or wherever you're based)

& I love to travel anywhere I can shoot beautiful-souled people having the time of their damn lives.

Your first; regardless if it is before or at your ceremony, is such a special moment on your wedding day & easily one of the biggest so you want to make sure it is exactly how you pictured it! In my opinion I have found the first look to be much more romantic and intimate then at the ceremony. Yes it is not “traditional” but that doesn’t mean tradition can’t be broken!

When you opt for a first look it makes that moment more about the two of you, no one else, no guests, just you. We will position you in whatever way will look best but after that we step back and you take it from there. I have also found that more emotion comes out in this short time then it does at the ceremony. As it is, the ceremony can be a nerve racking place to be so taking one more thing off your mind can ease that moment! Opting for a first look can also ease the timeline of the wedding day as well!

Typically after your ceremony is when all of your wedding photos will take place, however if you choose to do a first look we can actually plan to have enough time to photograph most of all of your portraits then in order to relieve the time crunch.

Choosing to do the first look on our wedding day was something that I will never regret.  It was a moment that we have documented so well with each of our expressions and reactions and a moment that we could spend together with just us and no one else.  It is definitely something to consider, but of course it is not for everyone and that is understandable!
